Bryce Benson has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in the field of engineering, development, and instruction.
Starting in 2011, Bryce worked as a Front End Developer at Mercury Studio, where they developed web applications and static webpages for various clients. Bryce also maintained corporate training repositories and converted PSDs to HTML/CSS.
In 2013, Bryce joined Real Integrated as a Front End Developer and later became the Lead Front End Developer. In this role, they were responsible for developing user experiences using client-side scripting languages and technologies. Bryce worked on client-facing web applications and web pages, ensuring the correct implementation of user interactions and visual design ideas.
From 2016 to 2020, Bryce worked at Graphiti Associates as a Senior Developer, managing the full development cycle of internal and client web-based projects. Bryce'sresponsibilities included provisioning and managing development environments, translating designs into fully responsive custom websites, and developing websites and interfaces using various technologies.
In 2018, Bryce took on two instructional roles. At the University of Washington, they worked as a Course Development & Instructor, contributing to course development and instructing students. Bryce also served as a Full Stack Instructor at UW Professional & Continuing Education, teaching Full Stack MERN in a fast-paced bootcamp-style environment.
From 2020 to 2021, Bryce worked as a Lead Developer at Cognition Studio Inc, where they were responsible for building web applications, modules, and CMS-backed websites.
In 2021, Bryce joined Hero Digital as an Engineering Manager, leading engineering teams and overseeing projects until 2022.
Currently, Bryce is an Engineering Lead at Shopmonkey since 2022.
