Christopher Childs is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in technical design and database management. Since June 2014, Christopher has been with ShopStyle, Inc., where significant contributions include leading an analytics overhaul for a B2B product and serving as the de facto DBA for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redshift. Christopher also developed and maintained an internal BI stack using Looker and Redshift, implementing ETL processes through Apache Spark on Amazon EMR. Prior to ShopStyle, Christopher worked at ChoiceStream from June 2012 to June 2014 and at PatientKeeper from May 2011 to June 2012. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Springfield Technical Community College.
