Daniel Nögel

Daniel Nögel is the current Director of Product Engineering at Shopware. Prior to this, they worked as the Product Manager for Cloud at shopware AG from August 2012 to December 2020. Their goal was to bring Shopware to the cloud and to leverage a cloud-first mindset in the company. As Product Manager, they were responsible for Shopware Cloud and oversaw the creation of a team of software & infrastructure specialists, the creation and prioritization of the Roadmap for Shopware Cloud, and the integration of solutions for shipping and payment in Shopware Cloud, among other things. Daniel was also responsible for clarifying cloud-related business processes and legal dependencies and leveraging Shopware's transformation into a cloud-based company.

Daniel Nögel completed a Magister in Germanistik, Politik, and Philosophie from the University of Münster. Daniel also holds certifications from the IHK Nordwestfalen in Ausbilderschein and from the Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Master. Additionally, they have a certification from the ISPMA e.V. in Certified Software Product Manager.

Daniel Nögel reports to Sebastian Hamann, Founder & Co-CEO. Daniel Nögel works with Tobias Blick - Director of Brand Marketing, Moritz Naczenski - Director of Product Discovery, and Sebastian Klöpper - Director of Product Management.
