Shane Whilsmith

Shane Whilsmith began their work experience as an Intern at Legal Aid Ontario in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Human Resource Assistant at CA Pty Ltd. The following year, Shane joined 4Refuel Canada as an HR Coordinator, a role they held until November 2008. From June 2009 to January 2013, they worked as a Technical Recruiter at Shore Consulting Group in Canada. In February 2013, Shane transitioned to the position of Project Consultant within the same company.

Shane Whilsmith has a diverse education history. In 2016, they attended the University of Toronto for Agile Project Management. In 2011-2012, they earned a Certificate in Business Analysis from the same university. Further, in 2010, they obtained a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto. For their undergraduate education, Shane attended Western Sydney University from 2006 to 2007 and acquired a Bachelor's Degree in International Business. Shane'searlier educational background includes a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Sheridan College in the years 2003-2005. Finally, Shane completed high school at Turner Fenton Secondary School from 1996 to 2001, receiving an OSSD in Aviation, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, and Economics.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Shane has obtained various certifications. Shane became a Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) through Scrum.org in July 2016. In September 2013, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Finally, in November 2009, they became a Certified Human Resource Professional through the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations/Human Resource Professional Association.
