Brian Meagher

As vice president of data science and strategy, Meagher overseas our analytics and data science teams, helping to drive student success and growth through advanced analytics and insights-driven strategies. Through this role, Meagher also leads and contributes to long-term strategic projects for Shorelight and helps provide a data-driven voice to the international higher education industry in the US. Meagher has 12 years of advanced analytics experience working directly in international higher education.

Prior to this role, Brian served as Chief of Staff for Shorelight, working directly with Shorelight’s executive team, board of directors, and investors on strategic projects. Prior to joining Shorelight, Meagher led the analytics strategy for the international team at the College Board. Additionally, he has several years’ experience teaching in Lima, Peru as an ESL instructor.

Meagher holds a bachelor's degree in business from Missouri State University; an MBA from the University of Missouri, Kansas City; and a postgraduate advanced certificate in bilingual education from New York University.
