David L.

David L. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David currently holds the position of Managing Director at Shorelight since October 2021. Prior to this, they were the Founder & Principal of Continiuum Learning, a higher education consulting practice, from August 2020 onwards. David also worked at Emory University - Goizueta Business School as part of the Corporate Education department from September 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining Emory, David worked at the University of Miami for a significant period. David held the role of Senior Director of Alumni Engagement from December 2016 to July 2020. In this position, they were responsible for alumni strategy, fundraising, and career services. Additionally, they served as the Director of the Office of Executive Education from May 2007 to November 2016, where they oversaw business development, marketing, and operational management of executive education programs. Prior to that, they were the Director of the Office of Professional Advancement.

David also gained international experience through their work at Baker & McKenzie's Madrid office as a US Consultant from January 1998 to August 1999. Earlier in their career, they served as a Professor of Business Law at Saint Louis University's Madrid Campus from August 1995 to May 1999.
