Waverly Sisson

Waverly Sisson, M.A. has a diverse range of work experience. In 2023, they worked as a Student Services Manager at Shorelight, where they helped international students adjust to university life in the United States. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they served as a Student Advisor and Spanish Tutor at St. Edward High School, where they mentored students and designed a successful Peer Tutoring Program. In 2022, they were a Lead Teacher at Cleveland Play House, leading a team and organizing activities for students. Waverly also worked as a Language Tutor at Grade Potential Tutoring in 2021 and as a Teacher at Breakthrough Public Schools for a short period. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Content Writer and Instructor at LearningJar India, Project Management Intern at Bhumi Global, and Editor at Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies. Waverly also pursued graduate studies at Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies and worked as a Research Assistant and Communications Officer at Grand Valley State University.

Waverly Sisson, M.A. completed their Master's degree in Religious Studies at the University of Oxford from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University, focusing on Religious Studies, Spanish, and Middle Eastern Studies from 2015 to 2018. In 2021, Waverly obtained the Word Essential Training certification from LinkedIn and a Teaching License-Standard from the Ohio Department of Education.
