John Washko

John Washko has a diverse work experience in the packaging industry spanning over several decades. John started their career as a Sales Representative at Signode, where they successfully increased sales and market share. John then worked as an Equipment Specialist at Signode, where they introduced new equipment and materials to the sales force. John later joined Delta Cyklop Strapping, where they served as a District and Regional Sales Manager, responsible for developing and expanding national accounts sales.

After that, John worked at xpedx as a Sales Manager, where they developed a team of packaging sales professionals and implemented a national rookie sales training program. John then joined Unisource Worldwide, Inc. as the Director of Strategic Sales, where they designed and executed a national sales process that improved the performance of sales reps.

Following their time at Unisource, John worked at Landsberg Orora in various roles, including Division Manager and Regional Director of Sales. In these positions, they led teams and developed sales strategies to serve new markets. John also managed all aspects of the business, improving facility operation and production while reducing operating expenses.

Currently, John serves as the Director of Packaging Automation at Shorr Packaging Corp. In this role, they focus on enabling companies to meet and exceed production requirements by implementing innovative solutions.

John Washko attended Kenyon College from 1977 to 1981. During their time there, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
