Jo Burgess

Jo Burgess is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in various industries, particularly in the barber and family tech sectors. As the Co-Founder and VP of Evolution at Shortcuts Software, Jo has significantly contributed to the development of salon and spa business management software, serving over 14,000 clients in 48 countries. Jo also founded Parenthood Ventures, a startup ecosystem focused on technology for parents and children. Additionally, Jo co-founded Life Sorted, a top-rated family organizer app aimed at enhancing family communication and scheduling. Previous ventures include co-founding Orb Distribution, which promotes eco-friendly products in the beauty market, and Easydry Australia & New Zealand, a leader in one-use eco-towels. Jo began as the owner and director of Peppermint Park Salons, successfully managing two salons in Brisbane at a young age.
