Kat K. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2018, they gained experience as a Work Shadowing participant at Osaka University and Kansai University, where they shadowed English language lecturers and acquired knowledge about Japanese culture and customs. Kat then worked as an Auction Intern at Cabral Moncada Leilões, assisting the director with research and translation tasks. Later, they had a Work Shadowing role at Chorley's Auctioneers, conducting research on artworks and producing catalogue entries.

In 2019, Kat worked as a Museum Intern at The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, where they managed daily museum operations and delivered presentations to the public. In 2018, they joined iTutorGroup as a Senior English Language Consultant, effectively communicating and tailoring English explanations to Chinese and Japanese learners. Kat also demonstrated problem-solving skills during live class sessions and received an outstanding average score.

In 2020, Kat joined Perioli Language Pilots as a Content Writer, and in the same year, they began working at 100Devs as a Software Engineer. In this role, they developed proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB, building full-stack, responsive web applications for international clients.

Most recently, in 2021, Kat started working as a Software Engineer at Shorthand. Overall, they have a breadth of experience in content writing, language teaching, museum operations, auctioneering, and software engineering.

Kat K. earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from the University of St Andrews from 2015 to 2019. During that time, they also pursued a Master of Arts degree in the same field at Leiden University from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Kat gained certifications in various areas, including Foundations of User Experience Design from Google in May 2021, Cyber Security 101 from Wagora in February 2021, deploy(impact) from women++ (womenplusplus) in 2021, and CELTA from the University of Cambridge in May 2017.
