Adam Barker

Adam Barker has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. Adam began their career as an Intern at Talis Capital Limited, followed by an Equity Sales Intern role at Deutsche Bank. Adam then moved to Foster Denovo as a Sales Support Administrator and Sanlam Private Wealth as an Equity Analyst Intern. In 2018, they joined Guinness Ventures as a Ventures Associate and later became an EIS Analyst and Intern - EIS Team. In 2019, Adam was appointed Board Observer for Global Pricing Innovations (GPI), Popsa, and Bidvine. In 2021, they were appointed Board Observer for Wrisk. Finally, in 2022, Adam was appointed Non Executive Director at Shot Scope.

Adam Barker obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of the West of England between 2013 and 2016. Prior to this, they attended Cranleigh School from 2007 to 2012. Adam also holds two certifications, the Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK obtained in November 2022, and the Venture Capital Foundation from the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) obtained in November 2019.
