Architect and Firmware Lead at ShotTracker

Tom Keeley has held a variety of engineering roles over the past 16 years. Tom began their career in 2004 as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Exelis. In 2010, they joined MRIGlobal as a Senior Engineer. In 2014, they became an Engineering Consultant at Fitbark and also took on the role of Architect and Firmware Lead at ShotTracker Inc. At ShotTracker, they were responsible for providing real-time, advanced sports statistics to coaches, players and media companies using custom sensors. Tom was also responsible for the network of sensors and proprietary algorithms that allowed ShotTracker to compute the 3D positions of every person/object on the field of play within milliseconds. During their time at ShotTracker, the company supported three different sports and over 100 installations across 45 schools and two major conferences and 4 professional teams.

Tom Keeley obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2002, and a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2004.
