Eric Masing has a diverse work experience. Eric started their career as a Nuclear Reactor Operator in the US Navy from June 2010 to May 2016. Eric then joined Penn State University as a Senior Reactor Operator from June 2016 to December 2018. After that, they worked at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. as a Network Administrator Intern from May 2018 to August 2018, and later as an IT Professional from January 2019 to April 2021. Currently, Eric is working as a Software Engineer at Shoulder 2 Shoulder, Inc since May 2021.
Eric Masing attended Penn State University from 2016 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Information Science and Technology with a focus on Software Development and Design. Additionally, they received training at the Charleston Naval Nuclear Prototype for Nuclear Plant Operations. Eric also attended the Naval Nuclear Power School, where they studied Nuclear Physics, Chemistry, Materials, and Radiation Health Science. Prior to that, they attended the Nuclear Field "A" School, receiving education in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician.
