William Vandyk

William Vandyk has a diverse and extensive work experience. William currently serves as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Invisible Technologies Inc. since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategic Advisor at Daft Springer starting from September 2022.

In 2021, William held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Pollen DAO, a decentralised investment recommendation system. William was responsible for various areas including finance, commercial planning, HR, legal advice, contracting, structuring of operational units, tokenomics, and audit. However, the project was reduced to a skeleton crew in November 2022.

Before their role at Pollen DAO, William was the Chief Executive at Roaring Pride Ventures from December 2020 to August 2021. From August 2019 to June 2020, William served as the Head of Strategy and Corporate Finance at Schroders Personal Wealth. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Services Consultant at GC/V Consulting from April 2017 to August 2019, where they handled restructuring, financing, M&A, and investor relations projects. During this time, they also played a role in commercializing an AI customer service robot, the funding and launch of a Vegan burger chain called Filth!, and advised on the sale of a UK-based social media platform Mumsnet.

William's earlier experiences include working as the Director of Corporate Finance at Arden Partners from April 2017 to February 2018. William played a significant role in building the corporate client base and securing new deals for the struggling broker. Additionally, they worked as a Director at Northland Capital Partners Limited from October 2010 to April 2017. During this time, they originated and executed numerous M&A and capital markets transactions, established a private equity fund, and created a new market-making division.

Furthermore, William was a Partner at Northland Partners from January 2016 to March 2017, where they played a key role in setting up a new private equity fund for US investors targeting small European companies.

Before pursuing higher education, they attended King's College, Taunton from 1991 to 1993 and Abingdon School from 1986 to 1991. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Leadership in a Technology Driven World" from Imperial College Business School in July 2020.
