Matt DeRusha

Matt DeRusha has over 15 years of experience in the field of UX design. Matt is currently working as the Lead UX Designer at Showcase IDX since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Lead User Experience Architect at Rightpoint from 2020 to 2021. At Rightpoint, they were responsible for defining and enabling vision for clients. Before that, they worked at TandemSeven for six years as the Lead User Experience Designer, managing a small team and contributing to sales pursuits. Matt also gained experience as a Senior UX Team Lead at Santander Consumer USA Inc. in 2013-2014 and as a Senior User Experience Designer at projekt202 in 2012-2013. Matt started their career as a Senior User Experience Designer at GameStop in 2010-2012. Additionally, Matt has worked as a Web Design Contractor at Santander Consumer USA Inc. in 2010, a Director of Interactive Marketing at Gigaset Communications in 2009-2010, a Senior Interactive Art Director at Mary Kay Inc. in 2006-2009, and a Senior Interactive Designer at Uniden America Corp from 2004 to 2006.

Matt DeRusha attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. During the same period, they also studied at the Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Marketing.
