Software Engineer II at Highlight

Brandon Reno has worked in a variety of roles since 2018. In 2018, they were a Computer Science Tutor at the University of the Pacific, where they tutored students in basic data science and data structures. In 2019, they were a Sports Marketing Intern at the University of the Pacific, where they created advertisements and animations for athletics. In 2020, they were a National Parks RTTP Fellow at the University of the Pacific, where they worked in a team of ten to design an RTTP game set around the national parks system and then turn it into a digital adaptation. In 2021, they were a Backend Developer and Software Engineer Intern at SKAEL, Inc., where they developed scalable HTTP and gRPC microservices in golang and python, wrote docker and docker-compose files, and pioneered git and python standards with product managers. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Highlight.

Brandon Reno attended the University of the Pacific from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media x. Brandon then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Engineering Sciences - Computer Science, which they completed in 2021.
