Tom Rigby

Tom Rigby started his Showsec journey in August 2007 as a Casual Event Steward in Manchester. With a love for Manchester, and a passion for live events, his career grew in the area, gaining his SIA licence and then taking on a Supervisor role. Withholding the skills and knowledge of the industry, Tom successfully completed the Management Development Programme in 2010 and ventured to Newcastle where he took on a security and operations role at Utilitia Arena (formerly Metro Radio Arena). Tom then travelled back to Manchester and became Area Manager for Central Manchester, he remained there until this year. Recently Tom has made the move over to Liverpool Area Manager, to bring his knowledge and expertise to somewhere new.

With unrivalled festival experience, Tom has worked in security roles for Parklife Festival ever since it was Mad Ferret Festival at Platt Fields Park in Manchester. He has also worked on Download, Bestival, Camp Bestival, LoveBox, Wireless, V-Fest, and Radio 1 Big Weekend, as well as taking on the responsibility of Project Manager and Gates Manager for Creamfields.
