Elan Sivakumar

Elan Sivakumar has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Elan is currently the Director of Engineering at Shred-Tech®. Previously, they worked at Blue Giant Equipment Corporation as an Engineering Manager for Lift Tables and as a Senior Engineer in Product Development. Prior to that, they were a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Corma Inc. and a Technology Development Engineer/Mechanical Design Engineer at Westpro Machinery Inc. Elan also had a long tenure at TSUBAKI OF CANADA, where they served as a Senior Design Engineer. Throughout their career, Elan has demonstrated strong expertise in optimizing product performance, quality, cost, and production, as well as root-cause analysis and technical support.

Elan Sivakumar holds a Ph.D in Machine Design Optimization, which was obtained from Brunel University London. This degree was pursued from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their B.Sc. in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, at the University of Peradeniya during the period of 1991 to 1995.
