Nitin Kumar

Nitin Kumar is a dedicated development practitioner with a background in engineering and over a decade of experience working on health, sanitation, and policy issues in India. After earning a B.Tech. in Mining and Mineral Engineering from IIT-ISM Dhanbad and a master's in Development Practice from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Nitin recently completed a Master in Public Administration in International Development at Harvard Kennedy School in 2023. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations & Strategy at SHRI, a social impact startup, Nitin focuses on scaling operations to ensure access to high-quality sanitation services in Bihar and Jharkhand. Nitin’s career includes roles at prominent organizations, including EY and the Ministry of Rural Development, where they successfully implemented various impactful projects and strategies.
