Shrimath Yoga was founded in 2011 with the vision to share the principles & processes from the ancient knowledge systems such as Veda, Tantra and Yoga in the traditional Gurukul way

Till now students from 38 countries, namely, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Columbia, Croatia, Czechoslovakia ,Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK & USA, have studied with us

Today there are innumerable styles of Yoga and equally impressive array of studios and great teachers. The obvious questions the student could have are: where to study, how to know whether teaching is authentic, what is the value given to certifications etc. To understand the replies to these questions, it is important to understand the role of living traditions in Yoga

Yoga is not a stagnant pool of knowledge but a vibrant living system that always addresses the needs of NOW. Like, Pawanamuktasana series & Yoga Nidra were designed & brought out by Swami Satyananda Saraswati (Bihar School of Yoga) to help us cope with the stress and reclaim health lost due to fast paced as well as sedentary lifestyle

To conclude, investigate thoroughly, know the living tradition(s) to which the Yoga School is aligned to, analyse your needs, then commit yourself to the study
