Abed E. Lawabni

Abed E. Lawabni currently serves as the Vice President of Lifetouch Engineering at Shutterfly, Inc., a position held since March 2021. Prior to this, Lawabni was the Vice President of Product Engineering at Great Bay Software from January 2015 to November 2020. Lawabni also held various roles at JAMF Software, including Senior Director and Director of Software Engineering from February 2014 to January 2015. Earlier experience at Symantec spanned from June 2005 to January 2014, where Lawabni progressed through titles such as Senior Manager of Cloud & Deduplication Engineering and Principal Research Engineer. Academic credentials include a PhD and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota, obtained between 1999 and 2006, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, completed between 1994 and 1998.
