Al Sweeny

Al Sweeny is an experienced security architect with a strong background in cybersecurity and information risk management. Current roles include serving as a Security Architect at Shutterfly, Inc. since July 2021 and previously at Wells Fargo and NEXUS COLLABORATIVE. Al Sweeny has held prominent positions such as Director of Cybersecurity at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, and at PwC, focusing on cybersecurity and privacy. With prior experience at Ameriprise Financial Services, LockPath, and British Telecommunications, Al Sweeny has developed a robust expertise in security architecture and consultancy over a career that began with a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
