Dan Smith

Dan Smith is a seasoned professional in document composition and variable data printing with extensive experience in both development and management roles. Currently serving as a Senior Document Composition Developer II at Shutterfly Inc. since January 2016, Dan has focused on applications design, software implementation, and providing support for Quadient users. Previous positions include Lead Variable Print Architect at Sun Print Solutions, where Dan managed variable data printing projects, and GMC Training and Development Manager at Rastar, where training and development of the VDP team were primary responsibilities. Dan's career began in prepress operations at various companies, including Publishers Press and Anagraphica, after serving as an Avionics Technician in the US Navy.
