Mike Polk

Mike Polk serves as the Director of R&D and Process Engineering at Shutterfly Inc. since March 2013, focusing on delivering solutions aligned with business strategies, including product development and process optimization through advanced technologies. Prior to Shutterfly, Mike held the position of Director of Research & Development, Technology and QA at FUJIFILM North America Corporation from February 2010 to March 2013, where responsibilities included overseeing product quality and establishing process standards across manufacturing facilities. Mike also has experience as President and CEO of Innovative Printer Technologies, where leadership involved scaling operations in the consumer and commercial print markets. Additional relevant roles include VP of R&D at CPI Corp. and various R&D and engineering positions at PCA International, along with an early career at Union Special Corporation. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
