Jason Stein

Jason Stein is an experienced professional currently serving as the SVP of Strategy & Business Development at Shutterstock since May 2023, following the acquisition of GIPHY from Meta. Stein's focus involves enhancing GIPHY's product and business by driving growth, platform integrations, and strategic partnerships. Previously, at Instagram, Stein worked on GIPHY's product growth and partnerships from May 2020 to May 2023. Before that, Stein held various roles at GIPHY, including SVP of Strategy & Business Development and VP of Business & Corporate Development, where the emphasis was also on product growth and strategic partnerships. Stein co-founded imoji in 2014, a personalized sticker company that was acquired by GIPHY, and held roles at HotelTonight in strategic partnerships before its acquisition by Airbnb. Stein's early career includes analyst positions at J.P. Morgan and RBC Capital Markets. Stein holds a BA in Economics from UCLA.
