Frederick Obermann has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Frederick started their career in 2002 as an Architect/Lead Software Engineer at Pacificorp, where they redesigned and redeveloped a large scientific application using Java.

In 2006, they worked as a Systems Administrator at Nova Business Systems on a contract basis.

Frederick then moved on to Schaber Roof Consultants in 2008, where they served as a System Architect/Lead Software Developer.

In 2009, Frederick worked as a Software Architect/Lead Software Engineer on a contract basis at Pacific Pride Services, LLC.

In 2010, they joined DECK Monitoring as a Senior Software Engineer.

Frederick also worked at In the Loop LLC from 2011-2012 as a Software Architect/Lead Software Engineer on a contracted basis, where they designed and developed a niche social application using Ruby on Rails.

In 2014, they joined RealproSystems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they evaluated solutions to adapt the current database technology and addressed application/code brittleness issues.

From 2014-2015, Frederick worked at shyftplan.com - pijajo UG as a Senior Software Engineer.

In 2015, they also briefly worked at nextsocial GmbH as a Senior Software Engineer.

Throughout their career, Frederick has demonstrated expertise in software engineering and architecture, with a focus on problem-solving, adaptability, and maintaining compatibility with existing applications.

Frederick Obermann attended various educational institutions throughout their life, focusing mainly on foreign languages. From 2011 to 2013, they pursued German language studies at Lane Community College. In 2005, they briefly studied Italian language at Università per Stranieri di Perugia in Perugia, Italy. A year earlier, from 2003 to 2004, they engaged in Portuguese language studies at CELIM, Universidade Federal do Parana in Curitiba, Brasil. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued Portuguese language studies at Portland State University. Finally, in their earlier days, Frederick obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from UMass Boston, attending from 1983 to 1989.
