Jax Gill, EIT, is an experienced engineer specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure. Currently serving as an Office Engineer at SI Engineering, P.C. since June 2022, Jax is involved in the NYC Resiliency Project, focused on retrofitting public wastewater treatment plants and pump stations to enhance their resilience against superstorms. Previously, Jax worked as a Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer at Cameron Engineering, contributing to environmental projects aimed at improving Long Island's water and wastewater systems. Jax's background also includes experience as an Assistant Environmental Engineer at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, where responsibilities included maintaining the city’s water distribution and sewer systems. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Staff Engineer at GHD, focusing on municipal water-related projects, and as an Engineering Intern at Humboldt State University, where Jax contributed to mentoring initiatives and academic support for students. Jax earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University in 2017.
