Ryan Tappy

Ryan Tappy is an experienced professional in the chemical engineering field with a career spanning from May 2004 to the present. Currently serving as Site Director at SI Group since November 2015, Ryan manages capital project budgets for five global sites and oversees engineering and process control staff. Previous roles at SI Group include Sr. Production Manager and Engineering and Process Controls Manager, where Ryan focused on budget management, process improvements, and DCS infrastructure management. Before joining SI Group, Ryan worked at Albemarle, holding various positions including Research & Technology Manager and Area Superintendent, where responsibilities included new product development and plant operations leadership. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University, earned between 2000 and 2005.
