Pascal Emsens is the co-founder of Aukera Energy and has extensive experience in the energy sector. Previously, Emsens served as Portfolio Manager and CEO at AtlasInvest from 2013 to 2018, focusing on both conventional and renewable energy investments. Emsens also held the position of Managing Director and Senior Advisor at The Carlyle Group from 2019 to 2021, and has been a board member at Etex and Sibelco Group since 2018 and 2017, respectively. Emsens began their career with an internship at Deutsche Bank in 2004 and later worked as a Commercial Manager at Exmar from 2008 to 2013. Emsens holds a BBA from Lancaster University and completed a Venture Capital Foundation Course in 2014.
