Mike Cavanaugh is the current Chief Customer Officer at Sibi. Prior to their current position, Mike was the Chief Operating Officer at Magnify Capital, LLC from June 2018 to May 2019. At Magnify Capital, Mike provided senior operations leadership for a startup real estate investment fund and developed the processes and infrastructure to support a $100M real estate portfolio. Some of their notable achievements at Magnify include leading the startup operations, helping secure $50M in financing, and overseeing the acquisition of $45M in Single Family Residence (SFR) assets.

From April 2016 to June 2018, Mike was the Sr. Vice President of Supply Chain at Amherst Residential. As Sr. Vice President, Mike directed the day-to-day supply chain operations with accountability for vendor management, product procurement, and cost reduction strategy. During their time at Amherst Residential, the company went through significant growth - expanding from 2,100 homes to 20,000 properties and 50 unique products on direct manufacturing sourcing programs. In October 2017, Mike was recognized in a Supply Chain Digital article for optimizing the company's supply chain by standardizing product specifications and negotiating set pricing, reducing acquisition costs by 15%. In addition to their work on the supply side, Mike also oversaw a 30-person national call center and drove improvements across all performance metrics, reducing turnover from 60% to 6% and leading a significant cultural shift.

Under Mike's leadership, the Tenant Call Center saw a dramatic turnaround, increasing NPS by 22 points, reducing abandon rates from 55% to 11%, and increasing the calls handled from 28,000 to 93,000 within one year. In addition to their work within Amherst Residential, Mike also led total cost of ownership (TCO) reduction programs for partners, investors, and employees - reducing costs by 12% while simultaneously decreasing DPMO by 38%. These initiatives radically changed the bottom line for our investors.

Mike Cavanaugh has a real estate investment program from Harvard University, a master's degree in organizational leadership from Northwood University, and various certifications from The Change Cycle Series, DemandPoint, Kepner-Tregoe, The Stanley Works/Wake Forest Babcock School, and GE.
