Daniel Clemente has a diverse work experience in the IT and project management field. Daniel started their career in 2006 as an IT Consultant at Vantyx, working with GE Capital and managing projects for GEMoney DataWarehouse. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Project Manager at SIBS, gaining experience in managing projects within the company. In 2010, they joined SIBS International as the Technology Division Manager, where they co-founded the IT department and managed international project teams in Europe and Africa. In 2014, they became the Head of the Operations Division at SIBS International, leading the division until 2019. During this time, they also took on the role of Head of IT, Product, and Operations Division & Regional Sales Manager, where they managed international projects and operations in over 30 countries, and led the sales strategies in SIBS' main international markets. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director at SIBS International since August 2021.
Daniel Clemente has a diverse education history that spans various institutions and fields of study. In 2000, they started their academic journey at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, where they pursued a Licentiate degree in Computer Engineering for six years, concluding in 2006.
In 2007, Daniel furthered their education by attending ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, where they completed a Postgraduate program in Project Management, finishing in 2008.
Seeking continuous professional development, Daniel pursued executive education programs at different schools. In 2012, they attended AESE Business School, where they focused on Effective Negotiation. In 2014, they enrolled in the Nova School of Business and Economics for an intensive management program.
Most recently, in 2022, Daniel attended the Harvard Business School. Daniel completed an executive education program focusing on Fintech.
In addition to their formal education, Daniel obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® from the Scrum Alliance in May 2018.
