Joana Lopes

Joana Lopes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Joana is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at SIBS since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at IDMind as a Robotics Software Developer from April 2019. In this role, they were involved in R&D software development for custom made robots, focusing on areas such as ROS, 2D navigation, sensor integration, and image processing. Before that, Joana worked at Card4B - Systems S.A. as a Mobile Developer from January 2016 to April 2019, and as an intern from September 2014 to December 2015. Their earliest work experience was at LTIDECivil where they served as a member of the Technical Section from September 2011 to September 2014.

Joana Lopes completed their education history at Instituto Superior Técnico. From 2013 to 2018, they pursued a Mestrado em Engenharia in the field of Engenharia Electrotécnica e Computadores. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2013, they attained a Licenciatura degree in Engenharia Física Tecnológica from the same institution.
