Stuart Fraser

Stuart Fraser has over 30 years of experience in computing, specializing in embedded control, internet technology, information security, and high-performance computing engineering in various sectors such as energy, banking, and scientific research. Stuart has held multiple leadership positions throughout their career.

In their most recent role as Mission Director (CTO) at Wallet.Services, Stuart targeted specific issues using cutting-edge technology to drive successful customer outcomes and favorable corporate exits.

Before joining Wallet.Services, Stuart was the Managing Director at Phorm System, where they held a leadership position in 2016.

From 2010 to 2014, Stuart served as the CTO at miicard, contributing their expertise in technology architecture and development.

Prior to that, Stuart operated their own freelancing company, Phorm Solutions, from 2007 to 2012. Stuart provided bespoke development and consulting services to a range of private and public sector clients, specializing in security analysis, web application development, and business analysis.

Stuart previously worked as a Technical Director at DNS, a specialist IT security consultancy, from 1999 to 2006. Stuart played a vital role in the design and implementation of core products and served as the principal consultant for various client projects.

Earlier in their career, Stuart held positions at ScottishPower as an Internet Engineer from 1997 to 1999, at SAIC as a Messaging and Infrastructure Architect from 1994 to 1997, and at Abtex as a Network Engineer from 1990 to 1993.

Stuart Fraser pursued their education in the field of computing science. From 1986 to 1990, they attended the University of the West of Scotland, where they focused on computing science. Later, in 2009, they enrolled at The University of Edinburgh to pursue a Master of Science degree in High Performance Computing, which they completed in 2010.
