Alex Franken

Alex Franken has extensive experience in engineering and automation, currently serving as a Sales Engineer in Factory Automation at SICK Sensor Intelligence since February 2022. Prior to this role, Alex worked as a Software Engineer and Afstudeerstagiair at Van Doren Engineers from January 2017 to March 2022, where research focused on measuring the Brix value of cold-pressed juices during production. Alex also gained valuable experience as a Stagiair at Cargill, where the responsibilities included reverse engineering an Ion Separator installation and upgrading it to Schneider's ModiCon PLC with NovaTech DCS visualization. Alex holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Elektrotechniek from Avans University of Applied Sciences, completed in 2017, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the same institution, earned in 2013.
