Daniel Scharly has extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, currently serving as the Head of Manufacturing Engineering for Industrial Sensing at SICK since August 2011. In this role, Daniel leads a team of approximately 50 engineers, focusing on organizational development, strategy development, and the implementation of a modern production system. Previously, Daniel held positions as Head of Production Engineering and Startup-Manager, emphasizing effective leadership and team collaboration. Daniel's professional journey began with a technical traineeship at ebm-papst Group and progressed through a role as Production Engineer at Ebm Nadi International Private Limited. Daniel holds a Master of Engineering in Technical Management and a Bachelor of Science in Drive Systems and Mechatronics, both from Hochschule Heilbronn. The current goal is to advance digitalization within the operations area, with a strong focus on smart manufacturing initiatives.
