Jay Johnson

Jay Johnson brings a wealth of experience in product marketing and sales management across various sectors, including automation and motion control. Currently serving as Product Marketing Manager for Motion Control Sensors at SICK, Inc. since December 2015, Jay has also held key positions at Kilowatt Financial as Key Account Manager and at National Instruments as District Sales Manager. Prior roles include leadership positions at Emerson Industrial Automation, where Jay was Industry Director for Solar Americas and Product Manager for AC Inverter Drives. With a solid engineering background as Manager of Test and Automation at Westling Manufacturing and a career beginning as a CNC/Controls Engineer, Jay's education includes a Master’s degree in Electronic/Computer Technology from Indiana State University, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Metro State University, and an Associate's degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from National College.
