Michael Bechthold

Manager, Customer Care

Michael Bechthold is an experienced professional with a diverse background in customer care management, product management, and surgical technology. Currently serving as the Manager of Customer Care at SICK, Inc. since December 2013, Michael oversees customer support teams across various regions and implements processes and KPIs for both new and established groups. Previously, roles at Barksdale and Emerson involved fast-paced marketing and business development for highly technical products, where Michael was responsible for developing and managing sales tools for global sales forces. Earlier career experience includes surgical technician positions in multiple medical facilities and service as an Operating Room Technician in the United States Navy. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
