Nikolas Simon

Nikolas Simon has extensive experience in software and project management, currently serving as the Head of Software and previously as Senior Software Project Manager at SICK Sensor Intelligence since January 2017, where responsibilities included scaled-agile project and platform management. Prior to this, Nikolas held roles as Software Project Manager and Product Owner for Embedded Software & FPGA Development, and also worked as a Software Development Engineer focusing on Human-Robot Collaboration. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Embedded Systems Engineering from The University of Freiburg and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in the same field from the same institution, along with experience at The University of British Columbia. Prior research experience includes positions at IMTEK, University of Freiburg, and Fraunhofer IAF.
