Rickard Ekberg is the Head of Robot Guidance Systems and Product Management at SICK IVP AB, where responsibilities include the business success of Robot Guidance systems and management of the Robot Guidance team in Linköping since April 2015. Previously, Rickard served as Product Unit Manager for Quality Control & Object Localization systems, overseeing vision systems for various industries, and held multiple positions at SICK IVP from January 2002 to March 2015, including Manager of Vision Solutions and Product Manager for the MCL system. Early experience includes a role as Software Engineer at IVP AB from January 2000 to December 2001. Rickard holds a Master’s degree in Technical Physics and Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Signal and Image Processing, from Linköping University.
