Thomas Fuchs

Vice President Operations, Global Business Center Systems at SICK

Thomas Fuchs has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Thomas began their career as a Senior Consultant and Trainer at Panskus Unternehmensberatung BDU in Wuppertal from February 1992 to September 1996. Thomas then moved on to Leybold Vakuum GmbH, where they served as the Head of Central Manufacturing and Prototyping from October 1996 to May 1999.

In 1999, Fuchs joined Kuhnke GmbH in Malente, where they held the position of Head of Engineering and Assembly Solenoids & Pneumatics from June 1999 to December 2002. Thomas then transitioned to SICK, starting as the Head of Assembly DIV Industrial Sensors from January 2003 to June 2004. Thomas was then promoted to the role of Business Unit Manager Production Complex Sensors from July 2004 to December 2010.

From January 2011 to March 2012, Fuchs worked as the Division Manager Production High Performance Sensors at SICK. Thomas then held the position of Head of Production CSC Systems from April 2012 to October 2017. Lastly, Fuchs became the Vice President Operations, Global Business Center Systems at SICK in November 2017, where they were responsible for German System Operations and worldwide System Production, as well as overseeing Quality Management of Global Business Center Systems.

Thomas Fuchs attended Fachhochschule Köln from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Dipl.-Ingenieur degree in Produktionstechnik.
