Torsten Weiser

Torsten Weiser is an experienced professional in research, development, technology, and innovation, currently serving as the Head of Research & Development for the Business Unit Mobile Perception at SICK since October 2023. Prior to this role, Weiser held several key positions at Herrenknecht AG from June 2017 to October 2023, including Head of Technology & Innovation Digitalization, Head of Digital Products & Services, and Data Management Team Lead, focusing on corporate digital solutions, data management, and connectivity. Weiser's earlier career includes a significant tenure at VMT GmbH from 2004 to 2017, where responsibilities included Head of Product Management and roles in product and project management. Educationally, Weiser holds an Engineer's degree (Dipl. Ing.) in Geodesy and Geoinformatics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, earned between 1998 and 2004.
