Yanik Deschenes

Yanik Deschenes, APR, LL.B., currently serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Optima Aero and has held the role of Global Managing Director, PR & Influencer Marketing at SID LEE since January 2016. At SID LEE, Yanik also previously held the position of Head of Global Communications, contributing to the agency's growth and reputation in the U.S. market since 2012. In addition, Yanik is the President and CEO of YPR Canada, which focuses on strategic communications to enhance brand equity. Other notable roles include Chairman of the Communications + Public Relations Foundation and General Manager at Edelman. Yanik has a background that includes leadership positions at AAPQ, Walmart, Cossette, and NATIONAL Public Relations, and holds degrees in Law and Public Relations from Université Laval and the Canadian Public Relations Society, respectively.
