Caroline Bastholm

Caroline Bastholm is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and development, currently serving as a Metod- och Ämnesföreträdare in Team Power Africa at Sida since January 2023. Prior to this role, Caroline held various leadership positions at Engineers Without Borders Sweden from 2012 to January 2023, including Secretary General, Chairperson, and Vice President and Project Coordinator. Caroline's academic background includes a PhD affiliation at Högskolan Dalarna, focusing on the technical and social aspects of rural electrification through solar power, and a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University. Early career experiences include project coordination in Tanzania and roles in research and emergency planning related to the Swedish power network.
