Sara Spånt

Sara Spånt is a Senior Advisor for Employment and Market Development in the Africa department. They have held various roles in prominent organizations, including serving as First Secretary and Program Manager for Private Sector Development and Trade at the Embassy of Sweden from 2015 to 2018. Previously, Sara worked as a Senior Associate at the Global Policy Forum and as an Associate Expert at the International Labour Organization. They also have experience as an independent consultant at Just Development and as a Senior Policy Specialist at Sida. Sara holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and two Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Economics from Stockholm University, and they are currently enrolled at the University of Sydney.
