Sofia Orrebrink is a Lead Policy Specialist in Gender Equality at Sida, with extensive experience in international development and gender policy. Sofia has held various roles within Sida since 2012, including positions as Senior Gender Advisor for Asia and as Coordinator for multiple initiatives focused on democracy and human rights. Earlier in their career, Sofia worked as a Consultant for Kvinnorättsorganisationer and served as a Junior Advisor with the Svenska Afghanistankommittén, where they promoted women's participation and children's rights. Sofia earned a Master's degree in Economic History from Uppsala University between 1995 and 2001.
