Mark Elbayady

Mark Elbayady is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Sidara since February 2021, Mark previously held the position of Legal Director at Orascom Development Holding from January 2017 to February 2021. Prior to that, Mark was a Senior Associate at Zaki Hashem & Partners, where responsibilities included representing companies and providing legal advice on corporate matters. Mark possesses expertise in labor law, commercial company establishment, offshore company formation, legal due diligence, and drafting complex transaction documents. Additionally, Mark has a strong background in corporate governance and securities law, having facilitated the listing process for companies on the Egyptian Exchange. Mark holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and Bachelor’s degrees in Law from both Cairo University and the same university in Paris.
