Alex Hernandez

Alex Hernandez is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in information security roles. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Sidechain Security since February 2024, Alex previously held the position of HSM Engineer II at Futurex from October 2022 to February 2024. Prior experience includes working as an Information Security Engineer III and Windows System Administrator L1 at Rackspace from April 2016 to July 2022, where support was provided for Windows servers and virtualized environments. Alex's career began at HEB, where a progression of roles included Helpdesk QA/Lead, Central Checkout Specialist, Cashier, and Customer Service Representative. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Texas A&M University-San Antonio and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Northwest Vista College.
