Marit Coehoorn

Marit Coehoorn has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Marit is currently the Director of Product at SideChef since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked at PostNL as a Senior Service Designer from October 2017 to April 2019, where they built up the service design discipline and led new service innovation projects. Marit was also a key team member of the PostNL's Orange Compass program, leading the co-creation process for innovation strategy and customer experience strategy.

Before joining PostNL, Marit worked at Livework studio as a Service Design & Innovation Consultant from November 2014 to October 2017. In this role, they developed customer experience capabilities and led customer insight and innovation programs for various clients including Adidas, Gucci, NRC Media, and Volkswagen.

Prior to that, Marit worked as a freelance UX Researcher & Designer from April 2012 to October 2014. Their freelance projects included UX research for Connected Care, concept development for the municipality of Amsterdam, and assisting a professor at TU Delft with master courses on Design for Interaction.

Their earliest work experience was as a Product Designer intern at FLEX.nl from February 2011 to July 2011.

Marit Coehoorn began their education at Delft University of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design Engineering from 2007 to 2010. Marit went on to pursue a Master's degree in Design for Interaction at the same university from 2011 to 2014. In 2013, they also attended Aalto University, studying Creative Sustainability as part of the Aalto Arts & Design program.
