Matt Chaput

Matt Chaput is a seasoned professional in user experience and interface design, currently serving as a Senior User Experience/User Interface Designer at SideFX Software since November 2009, where the role evolved from technical writing responsibilities. Prior experience includes a leadership position as Senior Technical Writer at Alias|Wavefront, where documentation for industry-standard software such as Maya was developed. Matt also contributes as Lead Developer for Whoosh, an open-source full-text indexing and search library, started in June 2009. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Professional Writing from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Calgary.
