Dmitry Pushkarev has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Dmitry began their career as a Research Assistant at Quake Lab at Stanford University. In 2012, they co-founded Moleculo, Inc. and served as the CTO until it was acquired by Illumina in 2013. At Illumina, they worked in the Advanced Research Group and helped launch Moleculo long read DNA sequencing and Moleculo Phasing products into production. Dmitry also led the development of analysis pipelines for whole genome phasing technology based on contiguity preserving transposition. In 2013, they founded ClusterK, Inc. and served as the CEO until it was acquired by Amazon in 2015. At Amazon, they served as the Head of Technology Development for EC2 Spot. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at A9.com as the Search Advertising and Optimization, where they ran Search Advertising Supply and owned the customer-facing side of Amazon's Sponsored Products. Dmitry was also responsible for product management, engineering, data science and operational support of SP services. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Kleiner Perkins as an EIR and at Rally Ventures as a Tech Partner. In 2019, they became the CEO and Co-founder of Sidekick Browser.
Dmitry Pushkarev attended Stanford University from 2007 to 2015, where they earned a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics. Dmitry also obtained a MS in Computer Science from Stanford University from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) from 2004 to 2007, and earned a BS in Applied Math.
